The green building trend in Thailand continues to flourish, with a promising outlook for the future. It highlights organizations leading the way in sustainability, creating healthier and more sustainable environments for communities

  • Challenges that must be overcome in the approaching period. Firstly, many businesses have switched to hybrid working arrangements. It causes demand to fail to keep up with supply. Secondly, renters who want to enhance their environmental credentials will increase demand for certified green (or eco-friendly) buildings. Lastly, the rise in employment and BSI indicates that It reflects that the business has improved more than last year.
  • Most green-certified buildings were above THB 700 per sqm per month.
  • A total of 220,437 sqm of green-certified buildings were completed in 2023; including Park Silom, The Rice, Siam Patumwan House, The Unicorn, Punn, JLK Tower, and JRK Tower.
  • LEED and WELL are two of the most well-known green building accreditations. When a building satisfies certain criteria (asdetermined by LEED or WELL), it is subsequently recognized with a certificate. All interested parties can feel secure with such independence.
